5 Teachings from Jesus to Improve our Lives Today
When it comes to Jesus’ authority in our lives, how do you think he uses it? To help us, or to lord it over us? Many of us live as though we think Jesus uses his authority to lord it over us. We assume his love for us is conditioned on how well we behave. We feel discouraged and fearful that God no longer loves us when we fail to measure up in our obedience. Jesus uses His authority to help us not to destroy us. Why not take your needs to Jesus? Give your problems to Him and trust Him to see you through them.
1. LOVE: When it comes to love, Jesus gave these directions: Love God. Love your neighbor. When you replace hate and anger with kindness, your life improves. 2. LIVE THE GOLDEN RULE: Treat others as you want to be treated. Your life will improve if you treat others with kindness and respect. 3. COMMUNICATE SINCERELY WITH GOD: God loves you. As your Heavenly Father, He stands ready to help you. Communicate with Him through prayer, express gratitude, and also ask for those things that you need. Great lifechanging power is available through sincere prayer. 4. HAVE FAITH: Faith in Jesus Christ means trusting Him, remembering Him, and following His teachings. It is a conviction that He is the Son of God. When you provide room in your heart to have faith in Christ, you will notice your life improve. 5. FREELY FORGIVE: Forgiving is to pardon or excuse someone from blame for an offense or misdeed. The Scriptures refer to forgiveness in two ways: The Lord commands us to repent of our sins and seek His forgiveness, and He also commands us to forgive others who offend or hurt us. By freely offering forgiveness, we can unshackle ourselves from the negative feelings that hold us back.
~ REFLEXION ~

Ama a tu projimo.
