November 5, 2017 Emily Hendryx Memorial Bake Sale & Donut Sunday (10:AM) this weekend after all Masses. Come and enjoy donuts and buy some goodies to take home, and support the scholarship fund.

Wednesday Evening Mass Beginning on the first Wednesday of Advent, we will have a 6:30 PM evening Mass instead of the 6:00 AM morning Mass during the school year.

Mass Schedule Change

Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and Altar Servers Beginning with the first Sunday of Advent, the scheduling for all ministries for Mass will be done in the parish office. If you serve the parish in any of these capacities, please call the Parish Office this week to make sure that we have your correct contact information and know what Masses you are available to help with. The parish phone number is 901.346.2380. Additionally On your weeks to serve, please sign in in the sacristy ten minutes before Mass begins so that Father will know if everyone is there.

This week the Church celebrates National Vocations Awareness Week. At St. Paul Catholic School, each Religion teacher is integrating the concept of "vocation" in the lesson plans. We are all called by God to be holy, full of His Holy Spirit and giving ourselves in service to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We also have a particular vocation to which God calls us. We will teach the children that most of us are called to Marriage, but God also calls some to be His priests, deacons, and religious brothers and sisters in the world today. We must learn to listen to God in prayer and follow Him wherever He leads!

Esta semana la Iglesia celebra la Semana Nacional de Concientización Vocacional. En la Escuela Católica de San Pablo, cada profesor de religión está integrando el concepto de "vocación" en los planes de lecciones. Todos somos llamados por Dios a ser santos, llenos de su Espíritu Santo y dándonos a nosotros mismos en servicio a nuestros hermanos y hermanas en Cristo. También tenemos una vocación particular a la que Dios nos llama.
