SPIRIT SHIRT ORDERS We are offering another order for the St. Stephen Catholic School spirit shirts and sweatshirts. We need a minimum of 12 items in order to be able to place the order. IOWA TESTS OF BASIC SKILLS This year, our Iowa Assessment (IA formerly known as ITBS) testing period is scheduled for Tuesday, January 17th through Friday, January 20th for grades 2nd through 8th. We have placed this information on the annual calendar as well as several other communication devices including the January calendar. We really want to protect these dates as we place a great deal of importance on the evaluative efforts. Your children deserve an opportunity to be at their best and that means that we must all focus on a week with minimal interruptions, low stress, and proactive, positive action to help our scholars achieve their academic best. We ask that parents refrain from planning trips during the testing period, as it is difficult to schedule time to make up the testing as they will ultimately have to miss regular class time when they return to make up the test, and that puts them further behind with their work. We all understand that these tests are simply one form of academic progress analysis, but we rely heavily on these instruments as we evaluate our efforts. Thank You!!
