BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS Tuesday, October 4th 8:05am In honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, we take a moment out of our day to bless our own animals, as many of us consider our pets a vital part of our family. We invite you to bring in your family pets for this special blessing. We will meet in the grassy area between the Church and school on Tuesday morning. In years past we have seen the typical dogs and cats, but we have also had horses, snakes, guinea pigs, rabbits, hermit crabs and of course frogs. We hope to see you Tuesday morning….don’t forget your “doggie doody” bags!!! Your child can also bring in a stuffed animal for the special blessing too.

En honor a la fiesta de San Francisco de Asís, tomamos un momento para bendecir nuestros propios animales, ya que forman parte de nuestra familia. Los invitamos traer sus mascotas para esta bendición especial. Nos reuniremos el martes en la área entre la Iglesia y la escuela. En los últimos años hemos bendecido perros, caballos, serpientes, Conejos, cangrejos, y ranas. Esperamos verlos el martes por la mañana. No olvide bolsa para recoger los desechos. Su hijo también puede traer su animalito de peluche a la bendición.
