~ REFLECTION ~ We have reached the end of the Easter season, our “week of Sundays” of reflection on the Easter mysteries of Christ’s resurrection and our Baptism. How appropriate that we conclude with a celebration of the coming of the Holy Spirit to our Church and to the world. May our prayer today be one of gratitude for each of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. Mother Theresa
