Why Tithe with Envelopes or ParishPay? Why is it important to actually use envelopes (or ParishPay) to make your weekly contributions rather than just putting cash into the collection basket? Because somewhere down the line you will probably come to the parish in need of contribution verification, especially for income taxes purposes or to qualify for Catholic Tuition Rates at your child’s Catholic School. We are able to track weekly donations only when our parishioners use their envelopes or utilize electronic fund transfer through ParishPay. Loose cash or checks do not get posted to our database. To have your tithing documented please be sure to use either the envelopes or ParishPay so we may properly record your contribution to the parish. When including a check in the donation envelope, please write your envelope number (which is also your Parish ID number) in the memo line of your check, as well as list the check number on the envelope. Thank you for your assistance and God bless you for your continued generosity.
ParishPay We invite you to try ParishPay to make your monthly parish contributions. Convenient, Automatic, Consistent! Enroll and manage your account online using your Checking, Savings, MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Discover. Visit www.parishpay.com or call the Parish Office at 949-951-8599 for assistance. We can enroll you in just a few minutes.

UNLAWFUL SOLICTATORS As you may know in recent weeks we've been visited by unwelcome solicitors. Originally they were not on Santiago property, last Sunday they violated Lake Forest City Ordinance covering private property and came on our property to the Parish Hall in front of the Church. We will have them removed either voluntarily or by the police. Please do not be confused the Lake Forest police know of this group, its much larger than we see and in fact are bused into Lake Forest. This is not a family living on the fringes, its a scam. However recognizing "who are we to judge" we recommend you DO NOT give them money, instead tell them to call 211. 211 is Orange County services hot-line it's answered by a human with lists of resources where one can obtain almost any service they need. food, shelter, health issues, both mental and physical. Please DO NOT give them money. 2017 Bishop Johnson Council Charity Golf Tournament (hosted by Santiago's KofC) Sunday June 11th at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in RSM. 1 PM shotgun start with registration starting at 11:30 AM. $145 per player includes golf/cart; tri-tip dinner and one entry to helicopter ball drop fundraiser.
JMJ 21 May 2017 Dearest Parish Family, God be with us always. Ever since I turned golden (50 years of age) – I began noticing so many changes in my physical capabilities and limitations. My knees were not as solid as they were. My metabolism has slowed down so I have to constantly try to watch what I eat. Time truly has a way of somehow making us realize its effects in us. We are making a follow-up PSA Appeal this weekend because we realize that our facilities need more than what we initially have foreseen. Time has taken its toll on our beloved Parish Hall. Not only have our dividers in the Parish Hall need replacement, the electrical panels also need to be updated. We have also to recognize that our technical and audio-visual capabilities have to be in place to make our facilities more functional. I apologize if I am writing to you a “grocery list” of things that need to be done but you are my parish family and together I believe we can make this happen. Let me thank you for all that you do out of love for our Parish. God bless and take care.
Amor y oraciones,
Love and prayers,
Fr. Thomas

Over 300 parishioners joined the Living Rosary coordinated by the Liturgy Committee with the help of our Lady Queen of Peace Prayer Group and FIL -AM Marian Devotees of Santiago. A solemn and touching prayer service was executed. Lighted candles and flowers were formed in front of altar to resemble a rosary. Each bead of the rosary was prayed by our parishioners: 1st decade by our Ministry Coordinators, 2nd decade prayed by our Spanish community in Spanish; 3rd decade by our youth; 4th decade prayed by our Filipino community in Tagalog and 5th decade by our parish community in general. Beautiful Marian hymns were sung by the Santiago Minstrels including a solo of 'Ave Maria' in Latin. As part of Pope Francis' granting plenary indulgence, we will continue with the Living Rosary every 13th of the month until October, 2017.
