In Memoriam  Mildred Citro, entered into Eternal Life on December 11, 2018. Her Funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 17, 2018.

Fourth Sunday of Advent

JMJ December 23, 2018 My Dearest Parish Family, God be with us always. A Blessed, Memorable and Meaningful Christmas to all of you. As I write this letter, I remember one person who I admired and who was an inspiration for me. I know him as “EO,” we met and I became familiar with him as I celebrated many Masses with him and the good people of Freedom Village. He passed away early this month and I presided at the Funeral Mass and celebration of his life last week. I like his name “EO” and the name of their residence . . . Freedom.

December 23, 2018 waver in our calling to live the season by sharing our faith, by giving hope and by manifesting love – in ordinary ways with extra-ordinary grace we ask from God. Let us spend the remaining days praying, reflecting and asking guidance from God how to do ordinary things with extraordinary love.

. Christmas that will support the Dreams we ”Desde mi punto de vista, digo que él es" EO "porque hizo lo esencial de las cosas de la vida de continue to write and meditate about in una manera amorosa" Extra-Ordinaria ". Me the Covenant Dream Book we receive at recordó lo que la Madre Teresa dijo una vez: the beginning of this month. I humbly ask "Seguir a Dios está haciendo cosas ordinarias con you to take time to read this book – pray un amor extraordinario".

with it – reflect on the words that catches your attention and contemplate on how we can use the challenge and inspiration we receive to enter into 2019 as dreamers . . . believers . . .doers of the gift of faith, hope and love in the person of the Child Jesus in the Manger. Once again a Blessed and Merry Christmas. Love and prayers,

Let me start by sharing how when I was reflecting what to share during the homily Fr. Thomas Paul K. Naval I thought about the initials of his nickname “EO.” It dawned on me that seeing how he lived his life – I now believe it stands for “Extra-Ordinary.” From my vantage point, I say he is “EO” because he did the ordinary things of life essentials in an “Extra-Ordinary” loving way. It reminded me of what Mother Teresa once said that “Following God is doing ordinary things with extra-ordinary love.” This Christmas Season let us not merely conform to the ordinary and routine. When I am shopping or buying things last Advent and people would thank me and say: ”Happy Holidays” I would always reply: “Merry Christmas.” We will not have this worldwide holiday if it were not for the precious gift of the Incarnation of the Son of God: Emmanuel. Let us free ourselves and be who we are called to be witnesses to the manifestation of a Loving Father who shared the most precious gift of His Son Our Lord Jesus. The Birth of the Saviour is the reason for the Season of Faith, Hope and Love. He will speak to us of the truth, guide us on the salvific way and allow us once again to enter into our eternal home in heaven.

Lo conozco como "EO", nos conocimos y and celebrations to usher this day. Let us me familiaricé con él mientras celebraba muchas
