Today’s Easter season scriptures paint a picture of God who loves us so much that the divine dwelling is now among us, with the human race. Jesus was the first physical manifestation of that new reality. Today as we gather at God’s invitation, we hear again Jesus’ commandment to love one another. Let us be grateful today for a God who loves us so much, and pray for the grace to put into action this commandment of Jesus, whether it be toward family and dear ones, or toward the strangers we encounter on the street. Let us learn to love one another as Jesus has loved us.

~ REFLEXION ~ Hoy las Escrituras de este tiempo de Pascua nos pintan un cuadro de Dios que tanto nos ama que hace su morada divina entre nosotros los seres humanos. Jesús fue la primera manifestación física de esa nueva realidad. Reunidos hoy por invitación de Dios escuchamos de nuevo el mandamiento de Jesús de amarnos los unos a los otros. Seamos agradecidos hoy por un Dios que nos ama tanto y oremos para recibir la gracia de poner en práctica este mandamiento de Jesús, ya sea hacia la familia y seres queridos o hacia los desconocidos que encontremos en la calle. Aprendamos a amarnos los unos a los otros como Jesús nos ha amado a nosotros.
