~ REFLECTION ~ On this first Sunday of Lent our first reading we hear Moses admonishing the Israelites to recall all that God has done for them when they bring their offering to the Lord. Then, St. Paul adds that “no one who believes in him will be put to shame.” And Jesus, at the end of his desert experience, is ready to encounter the devil and his temptations. During the next forty days, let us clear our minds and recall who our God is and whose we are.
Feb. 18th Thursday: Esther 12:; Mathew 7:7-12 Feb. 19th Friday: Ezra 18:21-28; Mathew 5:20-26 Feb. 20th Saturday: Deut. 26:16-19; Mathew 5:43-48;
