BISHOP KEVIN VANN CALLS ON ALL CATHOLICS TO PRAY TO DEFEAT SB 24 Please visit nyurl.com/StopSB24 to tell your legislators to oppose SB 24, which would require all state colleges and universi es to offer students free access to the “abor on piil”. Read Bishop Vann’s full le er at our Hospitality Table or in the Parish Office.
PRAYER & FASTING
CONSTANT VIGIL
Knowing that “with God, all things are possible,” people of faith and conscience unite in 40 days of prayer and fas ng. Christ told us some demons can only be driven out by prayer and fas ng. The two go hand in hand. Prayer keeps us rooted in the fact that it is our desire to carry out God’s will. Fas ng is a sacrifice that helps us reach beyond our own limita ons with God’s help.
The visible, public centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a focused, 40-day, non -stop, round-the-clock prayer vigil outside a single Planned Parenthood center or other abor on facility in your community. It is a peaceful and educa onal presence. Those who are called to stand witness during this 24hour-a-day presence send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abor on.

PRAY FOR OUR PRIESTS and BISHOPS
-Prayer by St. Faus na O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit and give power to the words of priests so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; You Yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil's snares which are con nually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, sha er and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanc ty of priests, for You can do all things. Amen.
