Interior light operation. A reed switch controls the interior light. The reed switch is located in the control section. See figures 1, 1A. The reed switch is activated by a magnet located inside a pocket at the top center of the door. See figure 4. Checking the reed switch operation. With the door open, the reed is closed and the light circuit is energized. The reed switch is concealed behind the control panel between the water filter and the UI display window. See figure 2. A strong magnet can be used to open the reed switch. Remove the door magnet found on the bottom right hand corner of the door and use it to check the reed switch. See figure 3.

If the light does not shut off, the problem is either the reed switch or associated wiring. If the light shuts off, hold a screwdriver close to the actuating magnet on the door and check its strength. The field should be strong enough to attract and hold a screwdriver in the center of the magnet. See figure 4. If the magnetic field is weak or concentrated toward the side of the magnet instead of the end, replace the door. Figure 4

Commande de l’éclairage interne. Un contacteur à anche (placé dans la section des circuits de commande) commande l’éclairage interne. Voir les figures 1, 1A. Le contacteur à anche est manœuvré par un aimant placé dans une poche au sommet/centre de la porte. Voir la figure 4. Figures 1,1A

Contrôle du fonctionnement du contacteur à anche. Lorsque la porte est ouverte, le contacteur à anche est fermé et le circuit d’éclairage est alimenté. Le contacteur à anche est dissimulé derrière le tableau de commande entre le filtre à eau et l’afficheur de l’interface-utilisateur. Voir la figure 2.

On peut utiliser un aimant puissant pour ouvrir le contacteur à anche. Retirer l’aimant qu’on trouve dans l’angle inférieur droit de la porte, et utiliser cet aimant pour contrôler le fonctionnement du contacteur à anche. Voir la figure 3.

Si l’aimant ne peut provoquer l’ouverture du contacteur et l’extinction de l’éclairage, on doit incriminer le contacteur à anche ou le câblage connexe. Si l’aimant peut provoquer l’ouverture du contacteur et l’extinction de l’éclairage, tenir un tournevis près de l’aimant de manœuvre du contacteur dans la porte, et évaluer la force d’attraction. Le champ magnétique devrait être suffisamment puissant pour que le tournevis soit attiré et retenu au centre de l’aimant. Voir la figure 4. Si le champ magnétique est faible ou concentré vers le côté de l’aimant plutôt qu’à l’extrémité, remplacer la porte. Figure 4

Funcionamiento de las luces interiores. Un interruptor reed controla la luz interior. El interruptor reed se encuentra en la sección de control. Vea las figuras 1, 1A. El interruptor reed es activado por un imán ubicado dentro de un bolsillo en el centro superior de la puerta. Vea la figura 4.

Verificación del funcionamiento del interruptor reed. Cuando la puerta está abierta, el reed se cierra y el circuito de luces se activa. El interruptor reed se encuentra detrás del panel de control entre el filtro de agua y la ventana de la pantalla de la interfaz del usuario. Vea la figura 2.

Se puede usar un imán fuerte para abrir el interruptor reed. Quite el imán de la puerta que se encuentra en la esquina inferior derecha de la puerta y úselo para verificar el interruptor reed. Vea la figura 3.

Si la luz se apaga, acerque un destornillador al imán accionador de la puerta y verifique su fuerza. El campo debe ser lo suficientemente fuerte para atraer y mantener al destornillador en el centro del imán. Vea la figura 4. Si el campo magnético es débil o se concentra hacia la parte lateral del imán en lugar del extremo, reemplace la puerta. Figura 4
