PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL The Pastoral Council first task is to consider the following question: what can be done to encourage parishioners to come back to the church? Mi primera propuesta seria: ¿Cómo podremos animar a otros a regresar a la parroquia?
FROM THE PASTOR There are some events that we celebrate that are just too great for one 24 hour period. Such is the case with Easter. We celebrate the full week as if every day is Easter these are more solemn days so that we can more fully explore the great mystery of our faith. The violence that exploded in Sri Lanka is a reminder that the world is still in need of the grace of Jesus and his message of peace on earth and good will toward all human beings. - Fr. Bob
Second Sunday of Easter Year C Acts 5: 12-16 Peter and the other apostles perform great signs and wonders in the name of the Lord. Revelation 1: 4-13,17-19 This initial vision of John is that of the Lord Jesus who appears in glory. John 20:19-31 On the eve of Easter, Jesus appears to His disciples to show them that he is alive. Eight days later, he appears to Thomas.
