Ribera del Duero Type of wine: Red Reserva Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo Vintage: 2009 - Excellent Production process: Grape selection. Temperature controlled (29ºC) fermentation on the skins of de-stemmed grapes. Long maceration between 21 and 28 days. Malolactic fermentation in barrel, clarification and fining. Ageing process: 18 months in 225L French and American oak barrels. 18 months at least in bottle. Tasting notes Colour: Deep, dark cherry red with ruby highlights. Aromas: Intense and expressive nose of black fruit with hints of leather, cocoa and balsamic notes. Taste: Full bodied, elegant and concentrated on the palate with silky tannins. Well integrated French oak and a long, rich finish. Serving and food pairings Serving temperature: Serving temperature: 16º - 18ºC approx. Food pairings: Ideal with grilled and roast meat dishes.
