Ya leí su último libro, aunque me hubiera gustado leer primero su novela anterior. Cuál fue la primera novela que escribió? I had already read her last book, although I would first have liked to have read the novel she wrote before. What was the first novel she wrote?
A:
La primera fue ”Puerto Libre”, la escribió en el 93 , pero con la que se dio a conocer fue ”Mal de Amores”. The first one was called Free Port, she wrote it in ’93, but the one she has become known for is “Terrible loves”.
B:
He leído excelentes críticas de ese libro, lo voy a comprar. I’ve read excellent reviews of this book, I’ll buy it.

Sabes que la semana pasada pasé por la librería, pero estaba agotado, fui a otro lugar y también estaba agotado. Me imagino que es por el éxito que ha tenido la adaptación del libro a la película. You know that last week I passed by the library, but they were all out, so I went to another place and they were all out as well. I imagine it’s because of the movie adaptation’s success.
B:
Puede ser. Escuché que la película es excelente, pero yo personalmente prefiero los libros, la imaginación no tiene límites, y la manera de interpretación de un libro es más personal. It could be. I heard the movie was excellent, but I personally prefer the books; imagination doesn’t have limits, and the way in which a book is interpreted is more personal.
