Author Visit Dear Richter Wranglers and Parents, The Richter Library is excited to announce our upcoming author visit by popular author and screenwriter Michael Anthony Steele! Mr. Steele is scheduled to visit Richter Elementary on Wednesday, January 30, for 3 special performances; K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. Mr. Steele has written more than 110 books for well-known characters and brands such as: Shrek, Scooby-Doo, LEGO City, Batman, Superman, Wishbone, Word Girl, Penguins of Madagascar, Night at the Museum, and many more. He just recently released his fourth Hardy Boys novel and a new early reader series: Nearly Fearless Monkey Pirates. He has written for television, home video, advertising, and is currently working on a script for his second virtual reality video game! While books will not be offered for purchase through the Richter Library, Mr. Steele has graciously agreed to autography any and all copies of his books that we present to him. Books may be purchased directly from his website michaelanthonysteele.com or from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or any other book retailer. Students may then bring their book to the Richter Library where I will label them with the student’s name if not already done, and have them ready for Mr. Steele to autograph upon his arrival.
