Dear Parents, Hurd Barrington Staff wants to welcome everyone back to school. We want to say thank you to all our parents and families for being patient while we implement our new visitor management system “Raptor”. With a new process comes learning curves. We have taken note of all your suggestions and recommendations and are in the process of reviewing them. For tomorrow, family members will be allowed on our site to escort your students without signing in for a maximum of 5 minutes. On Thursday, August 15, all families will need to arrive early, as we will resume with our student safety system and families will not be allowed on campus without checking into the office. Reminder you must check out as well. Our goal by Monday, August 19, 2019 is that our students will be walking in on campus on their own saying their goodbyes at the front gate. We are very proud of our students, parents and community for all your support and kind words today. We could not do our jobs without you!

Queremos agradecer a todos nuestros padres y familias por ser pacientes mientras implementamos nuestro nuevo sistema de administración de visitantes "Raptor". Con un nuevo proceso vienen las curvas de aprendizaje. Hemos tomado nota de todas sus sugerencias y recomendaciones y estamos en proceso de revisarlas. Para mañana, a los miembros de la familia se les permitirá en nuestro sitio escoltar a sus estudiantes sin registrarse por un máximo de 5 minutos. El jueves 15 de agosto, todas las familias deberán llegar temprano, ya que continuaremos con nuestro sistema de seguridad estudiantil y no se permitirá el ingreso de las familias a la escuela sin registrarse en la oficina. Recordatorio que debe registrar su salida también. Nuestra meta para el lunes 19 de agosto de 2019 es que nuestros estudiantes entren al campus solos y se despidan en la puerta principal. Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes, padres y comunidad por todo su apoyo y amables palabras hoy. ¡No podríamos hacer nuestro trabajo sin ti!
