Dear Heritage Middle School parents, students, and families, Our students were each assigned his/her own Chromebook that each student picks up every morning and then returns to its original location prior to leaving. This Chromebook is for the exclusive use of the receiving student. Beginning in 5th grade, the student’s device will remain with them until their successful promotion from 8th grade. Students are responsible for any damage done to the Chromebook that affects its expected operation, and they are also responsible for all content on the device as stated in the student handbook. Should damage occur due to accident or intentional misuse that stops the device from functioning properly, the student/family will be responsible for repairs. Repairs are completed in house by our tech department and the only charge is for the replacement parts—the most common cost is $75 for a broken computer screen. You may contact the office with any questions.

Estimados padres, estudiantes y familias de Heritage Middle School, A nuestros estudiantes se les asignó su propio Chromebook que cada estudiante recoge cada mañana y luego regresa a su ubicación original antes de irse. Este Chromebook es para uso exclusivo del alumno receptor. A partir del quinto grado, el dispositivo del alumno permanecerá con ellos hasta su promoción exitosa a partir del octavo grado. Los estudiantes son responsables de cualquier daño hecho a la Chromebook que afecte su funcionamiento esperado, y también son responsables de todo el contenido del dispositivo como se indica en el manual del estudiante. Si se producen daños debido a un accidente o mal uso intencional que impida que el dispositivo funcione correctamente, el estudiante / familia será responsable de las reparaciones. Nuestro departamento de tecnología realiza las reparaciones y el único cargo es por las piezas de repuesto—el costo más común es de $75 por una pantalla rota.
