Estimados padres de familia,
This week we will begin our study of animals and their habitats. We will begin to talk about living vs. non-living things and discuss what they need. This study will last several weeks and will explore several different habitats. Please be on the lookout for new habitat information!
Esta semana vamos a comenzar nuestro estudio de los animales y sus hábitats. Vamos a discutir de los seres vivos frente a no estar-y discutir y lo que necesitan. THANK YOU to all of the 1st grade parents involved In the Valentine’s Day Fundraiser! You were very successful! Our next monthly 1st grade parent meeting will be on Monday, March 4th at 3:30 pm. We will be discussing our upcoming field trip and parent volunteers for this event. We have 3 more months until end of the year testing to see how much we have learned this year! Students in the first grade must score a 176 on NWEA Reading assessment and 179 on NWEA Math assessment in order to advance to 2nd grade. Please spend time practicing all first grade skills at home a little extra! Have a great week, Ms. Weaver
