1. Back-ground Región: Ribera del Duero. Location: Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid). Variety: 100% Tinto Fino. Production: 15.000 botellas. Winemaker: Luisa Mª Nieto.

2. Vineyard: Age: 20 years. Productivity: 3.500 kg/ha. Nº hectareas: 4. (11 acres) Altitude: 800 m. Facing: South. Location: South Slope and plain. Soil type: Loamy-calcareus. Irrigation systems: No.

3. Aging: Type of Aging: Aged in oak barrels. Duration: 14 months. Recipient: Bordeaux Barrel 225 L. new to three years old. Time in the bottle before going to market: 1 year.

4. Taste: Cherry red color with purple undertones with an intense upper middle layer. Legs (tears) are dense and slow. The intense aroma appears red berries, blackberry, raspberry and a touch of spice, Vanilla, wood and tan. The palate is soft and well balanced, nice pace and length. It has a long finish with wild red berry, fruits and vanilla flavors coming through at the end.
