JEFFERSON FIFTH GRADE GRADUATION ACTIVITIES Each year Jefferson Fifth Graders enjoy activities in preparation for their graduation. Committees and volunteers are needed for each activity. If interested or available, please return the bottom of this form with your information to teacher or PTA Mailbox. WEEKLY SNACK or WATER DONATIONS: Please donate individually wrapped snacks or water to be sold during Pizza Friday. Pizza Friday donations and sales support Fifth Grade Graduation Activities. Send to classroom teacher or leave at main office with student’s name & teacher name attached. YEARBOOK COMMITTEE: Please adhere to the DEADLINES for the Yearbook submissions  Design & Layout: responsible for the layout of the yearbook (completed online). Volunteers need to ensure each child & teacher is in the yearbook (photos provided by the school photographer).  Photo & Text: capture photos of school events featuring 5th graders, including the traditional grade level photo taken in front of the auditorium. Coordinate with 5 th grade teachers to compile a list of student’s names, nicknames, goals & hobbies. Share this information with the yearbook design/layout committee to be added into the yearbook.  Baby Pictures: Collect, scan and save to USB drive  Ads: responsible for collecting all yearbook ads, ensuring each ad is paid in full. Work with yearbook team to ensure each ad is entered in yearbook & is correct for size/text/pictures  Booster Ads: responsible for collecting all booster ads, ensuring each booster is paid in full. Work with yearbook design/layout to ensure each ad is entered in yearbook and is correct for text. DANCE: Organize graduation dance (located in gym). Includes food, dessert, DJ, Decorate/Set Up Gym, Clean Up GLEN ISLAND (PICNIC or BBQ): Coordinate for park pass, food (request donations or purchase), toys, entertainment 5th Grade BREAKFAST (Jefferson Cafeteria): Coordinate for food donations or purchase, Set up, Serve Students, Clean Up GRADUATION BALLOONS & FLOWERS: Order balloons & flowers for Graduation Ceremony & Teachers
