Full job description We have a variety of live in Childminder and Au Pair posts in Ireland. The person will have their own room and full board and lodgings will be provided by yhe family. The family also pay for online training to train the person and assist them them in doing a better job: • • • • • •

The ages of the children vary depending on the family. Children´s ages can range from 6 months to 15 years. Irish families generally consist of 2-3 children. We have one family with 5 children. The au pair would generally have sole responsibility for the children so needs to have adequate babysitting experience and will need to provide refenences. If minding school age children role can involve getting children up and ready for school in the morning including preparing breakfast. It can involve bringing and collecting children from the bus or school by walking or driving (some families will require drivers and they generally need to be aged 20+ for insurance purposes). They will required to prepare lunch and dinner for the children and possible for the family. They will be required to do light house work such as washing dishes, putting cloths in wash, dryer, ironing. General cleaning of domestic area and bedrooms including hoovering or washing floors. If minding babies or toddlers you will be responsible for nappy changing, bottle and food feeding, walking or getting ready for bed. Keeping children safe is very important. Playing and engaging and loving the children is an important criteria for this job.

Please note very experienced and trained nannies or Elderly Carers can earn higher rates of €9.25 per hour. 4 weeks paid holidays in a 1 year contract Training paid for by the host families. Some families may pay flights Bonuses

Some families give mobile phones, some give car for private use, some pay for gym membership .Depends on the family
