To be eligible for Pre-Kindergarten, a child must have reached his/her 4th birthday by 12:00 Midnight, August 31, 2015. A child who does not meet this requirement cannot be enrolled. To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must have reached his/her 5th birthday by 12:00 Midnight, August 31, 2015. A child who does not meet this requirement cannot be enrolled. Parents or guardians must bring their child and his/her birth certificate and immunization records with them to preregistration.The Kindergarten teacher will meet with the child and parent or guardian as part of registration to do a skill assessment of the student. The school cannot enroll children who do not have birth certificates, proof of residency and up-to-date immunization record. Please note: immunization boosters will be provided. The children will be registered on a first-come-first-serve basis at each building. It is important to pre-register your child. If you have any questions regarding Pre-Kindergarten, please call Darcy Norsworthy at 575-543-1068. Questions regarding Kindergarten, please contact the principal at the building where your student will attend.

Para ser elegible para pre-kínder, el niño debe haber cumplido 4 años a partir de las 12:00 de la noche, el 31 de agosto, 2015. El niño que no llene este requisito no puede ser inscrito. Para ser elegible para el kínder, el niño debe haber cumplido 5 años a partir de las 12:00 de la noche, el 31 de agosto, 2015. El niño que no llene este requisito no puede ser inscrito. Los padres o guardianes tienen que traer a su niño, junto con el acta de nacimiento y la tarjeta de vacunas a la pre-inscripción. La maestra del kínder se reunirá con el niño y su padre o guardián como parte de la inscripción para hacerle una prueba de habilidades al niño. La escuela no puede inscribir a los niños que no tengan sus actas de nacimiento, prueba de domicilio y su tarjeta de vacunas que esté al día. Nota por favor: Durante la registración, el distrito escolar proveerá vacunas administradas por las enfermeras de la escuela en cada escuela, en caso de que su niño las necesite. Los niños serán inscritos con preferencia a los que lleguen primero en cada escuela. Es muy importante pre-inscribir a su niño. Si tiene alguna pregunta, por favor llame a la Sra.
