This upcoming school year, we will be implementing a policy change around cell phones. All classrooms will be cell phone free zones during instructional time. As a result we are asking students to refrain from having a cell phone on their person during class time. During class, students may have their phones in their backpacks or in one of the school approved storage devices inside the classroom. As a technology forward school, Wenatchee High School want to help to teach and promote appropriate digital citizenship. The intent is to support students in their academic success, remove major temptation and distraction, and promote face to face school interaction and connection. On the average school day you can expect students to have access to their phones during the following times:
