Dear Liberty Families, Welcome to the start of a new school year. There are a number of students in our schools with severe food allergies. The risk of accidental exposure to foods can be reduced in the school setting if the school works together with parents and students to minimize risk and provide a safe educational environment for food allergic students. In addition to providing a “nut-free table: in our cafeterias, we want to do our best to keep all of our classrooms allergy sensitive as well. We are asking your assistance in meeting this important health related goal by ensuring that any snacks brought into the classrooms at Liberty Elementary are nut-free.
