Dear Parent or Guardian, NES would like to offer your student(s) the opportunity to attend our “Jump Start” summer school program. We are excited about delivering a program that will prepare our students for their next grade level in the upcoming school year. Our “Jump Start” program will be a good head start for all students, regardless of prior report card grades. We are confident that your child's experience in this year’s summer school program will surpass all expectations! We will open the program for students that will be in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grade beginning next month. Students will work on material from the grade that he/she has been promoted to in an effort to better prepare them for the upcoming school year. All NES students are invited to participate in our summer school program. Our program provides students the opportunity to receive:  

Math/Language Arts/Science enrichment Teamwork & conflict resolution skills

Below, you will find the registration form (English & Spanish) that allows your child to participate in this program. The program will operate from July 24 – 28 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Summer school classes will meet for the following dates: July 24 – 28 Hours of operation will be from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. Any major office referral for disciplinary actions will result in an immediate suspension and will result in the student being removed from the program. Any student accumulating two (2) absences will be removed from the program. Transportation will be provided. If your child is a car rider, he/she may be dropped off at the Primary cafeteria between 7:30 am – 7:45 am for breakfast; if they won’t be eating breakfast, he/she should be dropped off at NES at 7:50 am. Breakfast & lunch will be provided. Each student is responsible for providing his/her own supplies (i.e. notebook, paper, pencils, etc.).

Las clases de verano empezaran: Julio 24 al 28. Hora de 8 am a 2:00 pm. En caso de problemas de disciplina el estudiante sera suspendido y removido del programa. Si el estudiante se ausenta dos (2) veces sera removido del programa. Transporte sera suministrado, si (su) nino(a) es transportado en carro propio (el) o (ella) debera ser llevado a la escuela primaria si desea tomar desayuno en la cafeteria entre las 7:30 am – 7:45 am, de lo contrario no tendra desayuno, y debe estar en (NES) a las 7:50 am. Desayuno y almuezo seran suministrado. Cada estudiante es responsable en suministrar sus propios utiles, como libreta (notebook), papel (paper), y lapices (pencils) etc.
