Dear Southwest Elementary Family, It’s hard to believe that the 2016-17 school year has almost come and gone. I hope you and your student take time to reflect on the past year and see if they met their goals for the year. If you didn’t set any this year with them, make it a priority for next year. If you have any questions about the growth your child has made this year in Math and Reading, contact the classroom teacher. They’d love to let you know how the year went. Report cards should be coming home around the 24th of May. Our end of the year program will change a bit this year. We will all be together in the CHS Tornado Dome on Thursday, May 25th at 12pm. Make plans to come spend the day at our SW Little Olympics on Wednesday, May 24th. Our students are excited to show off their class and competitive spirit.

Es difícil creer que el año escolar 2016-17 haya llegado casi. Espero que usted y su estudiante tomen tiempo para reflexionar sobre el año pasado y ver si cumplieron sus metas para el año. Si no estableció este año con ellos, hágale una prioridad para el próximo año.
