CCSW Disciples’ Men 2019 Spring Mission Project The 2019 Spring Mission Project will be to make repairs for a Corpus Christi congregation, Bethany Christian Church to damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. We will also remove an existing 30 foot wall and build a new much needed bathroom. This will involve outside work to run sewer, water, and electrical conduit for this bathroom. What you can do! Your participation, your prayers and monetary gifts are needed. The cost of the project will mostly be paid jointly by our regional Disciples Men and the DOC’s Week of Compassion. Additionally, gifts from churches and individuals will be greatly appreciated. DCCI Challenge Course and Facilitator Training Challenge Course: April 5-7, 2019 Ever wanted to try the Disciple Oaks challenge course but didn't have a group to attend with? This course is designed so that now you can attend individually as part of an open enrollment group. This weekend course is a high adventure outdoor program working with other adults as a team to work through interesting and unique challenges. It is fun, it is challenging, and it is rewarding. We promise that when your friends ask 'what did you do for your weekend?’ you won't have to say 'not much'. Follow this link for more information.

Facilitator Training: April 26-28, 2019 Facilitator training is scheduled for April 26 – 28. Attending the Come & Take It! Challenge Course weekend on April 5 – 7 (see above) is a prerequisite for this training weekend. During this weekend, you will build on your experience in the first weekend and learn the equipment, safety procedures, and technical aspects used in a challenge course. You will also learn history, tips, techniques, and approaches to the art of facilitation. Follow this link for more information.

Due Dates for Submission of Documentation for Ordination Process Information regarding the ordination process overseen by the Southwest Regional Committee on Ministry (RCOM) is available at www.ccsw.org/ordination-process/. RCOM meets three times a year. Documentation is due 60 days prior to the meeting in order to be considered for a possible interview appointment. Upcoming meetings: 
