A child must be five years of age on or before September 1 to enroll in kindergarten. To enroll a child for the first time in Idalou elementary, the following is required: • • • •

birth certificate or its equivalent, immunization records (see Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements for Students Grades K-12) proof of residence [i.e. deed, lease agreement, OR a recent utility bill (water, electric or gas only)] Please note: If you are currently living with another person and the proof of residency is in that person’s name, both you and that person will need to sign a notarized Affidavit of Residency form student's social security card (preferred) photo ID of parent or guardian (Texas law requires that a child must be enrolled by a parent or guardian i.e., court ordered authority) If the child does not live in Idalou ISD school district you will need to speak to the principal, Steve Gunter about accepting your child as a transfer student.

certificado de nacimiento o su equivalente, registros de inmunización (ver requisitos mínimos de vacunas estatales de Texas para estudiantes grados K-12) prueba de residencia [es decir, escritura, contrato de arrendamiento o una factura reciente de servicios públicos (solo agua, electricidad o gas)] Tenga en cuenta: Si actualmente vive con otra persona y la prueba de residencia está en el nombre de esa persona, tanto usted como esa persona tendrán que firmar un formulario de declaración jurada de residencia notarial tarjeta de seguro social del estudiante (preferida) IDENTIFICACIÓN con foto del padre o tutor (la ley de Texas requiere que un niño debe ser inscrito por un padre o tutor, es decir, autoridad ordenada por el Tribunal) Si el niño no vive en el distrito escolar de Idalou ISD, tendrá que hablar con el director, Steve Gunter, sobre cómo aceptar a su hijo como estudiante de traslado.
