CALL 2017 XIX Convocatoria Internacional de Jóvenes Artistas
Descripción y características Este programa está dirigido a jóvenes creadores nacionales e internacionales (de entre 25 y 35 años de edad). Profesionales que se encuentran en proceso de maduración de su discurso y que cuentan con capacidades, habilidades y conocimientos que les permiten enfrentar sus proyectos con claridad y consistencia. Para la galería el propósito de esta convocatoria, es el de establecer un nexo real con lo que está sucediendo en el contexto más joven. Pretende a su vez, proporcionar a los artistas la posibilidad de presentar sus propuestas en un entorno profesional, permitiéndoles un acercamiento y una posible continuidad de colaboración con la galería. La selección la llevará a cabo Olga Adelantado, junto al equipo de la galería; Virginia Murcia e Isabel Puig.
Premio La selección realizada entre todas las propuestas presentadas supondrá lo siguiente: – –
Los artistas elegidos formarán parte de una exposición colectiva que se realizará en la galería desde el 6 de julio hasta el 22 de septiembre de 2017. Dentro de esta selección, la galería elegirá a un artista destacado, al que brindará la posibilidad de elaborar un proyecto para el espacio Boiler Room durante el siguiente año.
Fallo El fallo final se podrá ver publicado en la página web de la galería a mediados de mayo. Debido al elevado número de participantes, solamente los seleccionados serán informados vía e-mail. A su vez, el número de obras expuestas, podrá variar dependiendo de los artistas seleccionados y de las características concretas de cada trabajo.
Documentación –
Los participantes deberán presentar un dossier formato A4 de obra reciente y en su mayoría disponible o un CD para visualizar en pantalla con imágenes en formato JPG o PDF(10-15 imágenes). Si se considera necesario se podrán incluir vídeos o textos.

Description and features This program is aimed at national and international young artists (between 25-35 years of age), whose work is maturing and who have the skills, abilities and knowledge that enable them to develop their projects with clarity and consistency. For our gallery, the main purpose of this call is to establish a real link with today’s youth environment. Our goal is to give artists the opportunity to present their works in a professional context, allowing them to collaborate and create a possibly permanent relationship with our gallery. The selection will be done by Olga Adelantado, with the gallery team; Virginia Murcia and Isabel Puig.
Prize The selection made among all the presented proposals will involve the following aspects: –
The selected artists will take part in a group exhibition to be held at our gallery from 6 July to 22 September, 2017.

Within this selection, our gallery will choose a prominent artist, who will be given the opportunity to develop a project to be hosted in our Boiler Room next year.
Decision The final decision will be posted on our gallery’s website by the middle of May. Due to the high number of participants, only those selected will be informed via e-mail. In turn, the number of exhibited works may vary, depending on the artists selected and the specific features of each work.
Documentation –
Participants must submit an A4-sized dossier of their recent and most accessible work, or a CD displaying it in JPG or PDF format (10-15 images). If necessary, videos or text may be included.
