Latin America & Europe in a Global World
LAGLOBE
Objectives To train a new generation of specialists eager to acquire knowledge on cooperation challenges. LAGLOBE graduates will possess an innovative and complementary profile consisting of a deep understanding of EU and Latin American societies, cultures and economies.
Requirements ● Bachelor degree or equivalent in social sciences, human sciences or legal sciences ●Academic Transcripts ●One letter of recommendation in English ●Proficiency in English and Spanish (C1 level or first language) and French (B2 level or first language) ●A research project (1800 words) in English ●Cover letter (600 words) in English ●A Europass CV in English
Diploma Students will receive a joint degree issued by the tree european universities.
Employability PhD, academic research, consultancy, NGOs and international organisations, government officials, among others.
Programme The LAGLOBE Master’s Programme has a duration of two years, divided into four semesters, as described in the table below.
Mobility Path
Latin America & Europe in a Global World is a multidisciplinary Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme that lasts two years (four semesters) with a total of 120 credits. Courses are taught in three different universities in Europe, with lectures, seminars and conferences in three different languages: English, French and Spanish. For the last semester, students will opt for either a field research or an internship with one of our partners in Latin America. The main goal of LAGLOBE is to study, from the perspective of the social sciences and humanities, the challenges and relationships between Europe and Latin America as part of a global world, taking into account the theoretical frameworks and values of the European Union and its member countries.
