1. Remove the existing arm cap by using a flat-bladed screwdriver or small, flat pry tool. CAUTION: Position the tip of the tool carefully under the arm cap and lift upward to avoid damage to the top of the arm.
2. Work slowly and lift evenly around the perimeter of the cap. This will minimize wear on the retainer holes for the new arm cap and make the old arm cap easier to remove.
