At this moment we have open positions for: ENGINEER 0901191 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Defines the working phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. • Ensures appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. • Identifies and recommends improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and costs requirements. • Ensures the production process complies with the project targets. Approves the design for processes developed internally or externally and performs final tests with respect to the project. • Provides support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment star-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources. • Evaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 5 years in injection molding, mold design/repair and related areas, in a plastics injection molding operation. • Experience with hot-runner mold systems, principle of operation, repair, etc. • Experience in centralized process monitoring systems like: Shot-Scope, Plantstar, and E-factory. Use the system to implement product traceability, mold and machine PM schedules, etc. • Experience in Quality improvement methodologies and techniques. Computer Literate. Strong interpersonal skills. • Implements health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives to ensure safety of people and resources. • Fully bilingual (Spanish & English) verbal and written. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR 0901192 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Oversees execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. Collaborates with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consults on ways to improve reliability maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities. • Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. • Solves major technical, equipment or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Maintains tools and repair equipment in good working order. • Proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency. • Responds to emergencies, break-downs, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production process. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree Electrical or Mechanical Engineering • Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an industrial support function • Background knowledge in an electronic environment. TOOL & DIE MAKER 0901195 Tercer Turno FUNCIONES ESCENCIALES DEL PUESTO • Reparación, reemplazo, desarrollo y diseño de piezas y moldes para maquinaria en area de manufactura. • Interpretación de planos de piezas. REQUISITOS • Educación formal completada en Troquelería y Herramentaje • Destrezas en utilización de computadora para trabajar con la tecnología CAD/ CAM, máquinas-herramienta CNC • Conocimientos de “Machine Shop”, “Milling Machines”, Tornos y Soldadura eléctrica • Habilidad para trabajar con instrumentos para tomar medidas de presición • Dominio en Matemáticas.
