FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR FR. MINH and FR. RICARDO Please join us on rd

June 23 after the 4:30 P.M. Mass as we bid a fond farewell to Fr. Minh, who, after four years of devoted service here at St. Francis Church, has been assigned Associate Pastor of Saint Mary Magdalene Parish in San Diego, and Fr. Ricardo as he goes to serve the Eudist Community at Saint Patrick’s Church in Carlsbad. Both assignments will be effective July 1st, 2018.

The reception will be immediately following the Mass at FOUNDERS Hall. It has been a blessing to have you as part of our church family. We have grown spiritually with your leadership and we will miss you both. May God continue to bless you in your future path. We send our heartfelt thanks , many prayers and love.

Our next St. Francis parish blood drive, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will be held in the main church parking lot on Sunday, June 24 from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You may sign up on-line with the San Diego Blood Bank now or outside the main entrance of the church after masses this weekend. Walk-ups are welcome, but preference will be given to those with appointments.

Blessing of Fathers God and Father of all creation, we come before you today with humble hearts. You are our model of a loving father. When we fail and fall short of your expectations, you are always there at the end of the day with open arms, ready to heal the cuts and scrapes of the day and to encourage us to try again and not to give up.
