Bus Mechanic : We’re looking for some Bus mechanics for a garages in Flanders . You will have to inspect, to diagnose and to repair brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering systems, transmissions and tires. Your main duties : Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition. Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment. Raise buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. Test drive buses to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.( Driver's license D) Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges. Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices. Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications. Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves. Repair and adjust seats, doors, and windows, and install and repair accessories. Inspect, repair, and maintain automotive and mechanical equipment and machinery such as pumps and compressors. Disassemble and overhaul internal combustion engines, pumps, generators, transmissions, clutches, and differential units.

Profile : Education : High Technical School Diploma or equivalent Experience in the repair and preventative maintenance of school buses and other motor vehicles Driver's License D Fluent communication in English Experience with MERCEDES is an asset .

Offer : Full –time employment with an attractive salary ( 40h /week) From Monday till Thursday 7.45-16u, On Friday from 7.45 till 15.15 . Salary depends on your level on the truck mechanic scale Level B starts at 13,27 euro /h Level C starts at 14,71 euro/h Level D starts at 16,16 euro/h Once you succeed successful for your assessment you obtain the salary linked to the right Level + transportrefund
