CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (m/f) Duties : As a member of the Civil Engineering Group, you will be involved in the supervision of structural and light works, from the study stage to the project realization stage. Your main tasks will consist in:
Conducting feasibility studies
Drawing up technical and quantitative specifications and defining plannings,
Preparing consultations for subcontracting companies
Supervising building sites and contractors’ coordination
Ensuring compliance with jobsite rules, safety instructions and deadlines
Conducting and following up as-built documentations
Managing and updating technical documents
Qualifications and Experience :
B.S. degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
5 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar position
Proficiency in CAD systems (i.e. AUTOCAD)
Basic knowledge of Topography
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong sense of initiative
Versatility and image management tools.
Language skills : As an international research centre, we are particularly keen to ensure that we also attract applicants from outside France. You must have a sound knowledge of English and be willing to learn French (a language course will be paid for by the ILL). Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
Notes : This post is a permanent position. You must be fit to perform work in radiation-controlled areas, outdoors, at height and underground. Interviews will take place on week 42.
