REQUIREMENTS: 1) Wiring run from the power supply to the LED light fixture (supplied and installed by a licensed electrical contractor in accordance with local codes) shall be 16 AWG jacketed wire. 2) Each light fixture has its own individual wiring run and is not to exceed 30 feet. NOTE: Exceeding maximum wiring run will result in voltage drop and reduced preformance of the light. 3) One power supply can drive multiple light fixtures, up to, but not to exceed, 120 linear inches total, of LED light fixtures, in any combination of lengths.

Dependent on the length, position and snap mounting clips at both ends of the fixture at the following locations: • 12 inches for fixtures 48 inches and longer. • 5 inches for fixtures less than 48 inches. 2. Strip 1/2 inch insulation off both wires on light fixure. Strip 1/2 inch insulation off both wires from the power source. Connect these low voltage leads (typically red-to-red / black-to-black) using the appropriate size wire nut connectors.
NOTE: Route any electrical harnesses that need to pass through this area prior to installing any single Ambient Direct LED Light Fixture. Back to back fixtures restrict the routing of electrical harnesses.

3. Tip the upper edge of the light fixture into the frame opening and engage the leaf spring tab of the upper mounting clips into the trough area of the intermediate horizontal beam. 4. While lifting upward, rotate the bottom edge into the opening. Apply pressure to the bottom edge of the light fixture in the approximate location of the lower mounting clips to fully engage the frame.

NOTE: Consistent horizontal reveals (top and bottom edges) and flush with surrounding wall surface elements confirm proper engagement to the frame.
5. Lightly move the light fixture left or right to adjust vertical reveals for alignment with the other wall surface elements.

Removal Process TIP: To prevent marring and surface damage, wrap the pry bar or other leverage tool with electrical tape and/or use a protective surface (such as a putty knife) before lifting against other surface elements.
1. Using a small pry bar, start at one end of the light fixture at the approximate location of lower mounting clip.

2. Carefully lift the light fixture approximately 1/8 inch upward and rotate out at the bottom edge. 3. Repeat at the middle clip location if the light fixture is 72 inches or greater, and again at the opposite end.

NOTE: Once rotated sufficiently out of the frame opening, the fixture should drop down and disengage the upper mounting clips.
4. Remove one (1) wire nut connector and

separate the leads. Replace the wire nut on the 16 AWG power lead.
5. Repeat with the other wire nut connector/power lead.

Check driver using a simple low voltage (5-50 Vac/Dc) tester. Confirm fixture works using a different driver.

Confirm fixture works using a different driver. Confirm Dimmer is functioning and compatible 0-10V type.

Confirm the driver function using a simple low voltage (5-50 Vac/Dc) tester, or try using a known working driver.
