Amherst Early Education Program Fiscal Year 2016-2017 (FY17) Anticipated Preschool Tuition Sliding Fee Scale The income eligibility levels outlined below are based upon the state income eligibility table published in Department of Early Education and Care. (Income Level Source: MA Department of Early Education and Care, effective 10/1/2015.
The Program anticipates the following number of free and/or reduced tuition slots available for 2016-2017. **Returning students will be given access first to the free and/or reduced slots. Once all of the free and/or reduced tuition slots are filled, full tuition pays will be accepted and reduced tuition requests waitlisted. Those waitlisted will be contacted if full pay slots remain unfilled for period of time. Rates are based upon $5.25 per hour for twenty hours for the anticipated preschool year (or 35 weeks). FY17 Anticipated slots:
Free (no tuition) – no more than five (5) slots Reduced (ranging from $368 to $2,756 annual tuition based upon verifiable income) – twenty (20) slots
