What can parents to support students’ progress?
Encourage and help students to learn vocabulary, reinforce and extend their grammatical knowledge and practise their speaking. Encourage students to extend their learning independently outside of lessons and classwork by regularly reading to and listening to Spanish using a variety of sources. Encourage students to take initiative to seek out help, both in school and out, from teachers, peers and online whenever required. Ensure students prepare as thoroughly as possible for end of unit tests. Check folders are organised at home. Monitor progress via Go4schools.
