Eseia is seeking to recruit an 1 EU PROJECT OFFICER (f/m)
Post-Graduate degree holders are invited to apply for a posting to the eseia Headquarter in Graz for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.
eseia offers a high profile international job opportunity addressing major aspects of EC project management and implementation in the field of smart energy systems. The person will work with the eseia Team on the strategic development of the Alliance as described in the eseia Work Programme and Budget.
The position includes the following tasks: - Management of EC Projects, namely the ERA-Net Smart Grids Plus Co-Evolution of Smart Energy Products and Services (CECEPS); - Development of exploitation strategies, exploitation pathways (market analysis), and new business models; - Development of the eseia Working Group on Smart Cities and Regions; - Contribution to the work of the eseia project acquisition team; - Creation of courses in the framework of the eseia Education and Training Programme (ETP); - Dissemination of project results;
Successful candidates will have the following profile: - A university degree, preferably in (electrical) engineering, with a good understanding of sustainable energy systems and new business models; - Experience with EC project management (incl. financial management); - Excellent command of English both written and orally, other languages are an asset; - State of the art computer skills; - Ability to operate in a complex international environment; - Eager to learn and develop and availability to travel internationally in Europe;
