El LAC-i-Roadshow es uno de los proyectos del Plan Estratégico regional, una estrategia que fue desarrollada por los diferentes grupos de interés de América Latina y el Caribe representados en ICANN. Está diseñado para crear conciencia en la región sobre temas clave relacionados con infraestructura crítica del Sistema de Nombres de Dominio (DNS) como la transición a IPv6, SSR (Seguridad, Estabilidad y Resiliencia) y el impacto del programa de nuevos gTLD. Para garantizar un conjunto bien distribuido de eventos, habrá cuatro ediciones del LAC-i-Roadshow por año: en el Caribe; en la Región Andina; en México y América Central y finalmente en América del Sur. Cada evento del LAC-i-Roadshow estará liderado por destacados ponentes locales en cada uno de los temas propuestos, complementando sus conocimientos con otros expertos de la región cuando sea oportuno.

The LAC-i-Roadshow is one of the projects of the LAC Strategy, a strategy that was developed by the different stakeholders groups represented at ICANN from the LAC region. It is designed to raise awareness across the region on key topics related to the DNS critical infrastructure such as the transition to IPv6, SSR (Security, Stability and Resiliency) and the impact of the new gTLD program. To ensure a well distributed set of events, there will be four editions of the LAC-i-Roadshow per year: The Caribbean; Andean Region; Mexico and Central America and South America. Each event of the LAC-i-Roadshow will be led by local champions on each of the subjects complementing their expertise with other experts from the region when appropriate.
