January 2, 1948 - April 19, 2018 hatia passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1985. She is survived by her children, Lily (Roberto), Jaime Vinicio (Vivi), Luis Estuardo (Jennifer), and Carlos (Sarah); grandchildren, Vinicio Jr., Jonathan M. (Alexandra), Leticia, Elias, Chanel and Baby Illescas-LaFlamme; sister, Ana Maria del Carmen; brothers, Ricardo, Victor Hugo (Aura), Mario Alberto (Rose); as well as numerous nephews and nieces and extended family. Our mother lived a very kind compassionate life and her impact was felt by all who met her. When not spending time with friends and family, Chatia, enjoyed shopping

at the mall, and was infamous for buying and exchanging items. She loved cooking, gardening, listening to music and watching “Telenovelas”. She will always be remembered for her caring good nature, her love for her canaries, and her unforgettable warm smile. No one ever left her house without having at least one “Cafecito” and something to eat. With her good hearted kindness; she touched the lives of many people. She was loved and respected by all who lived, worked and interacted with her. Chatia you will truly be MISSED! – Te Vamos a Extrañar Mucho.
