With the locking bolt in the unlocked position, place the lock in the desired installation location with 1/16” clearance between the end of the bolt and the location the bolt hole will be drilled. 4. Carefully drill a small pilot hole and follow with a 9/32” hole for the lock bolt. Increase the hole size to 3/8” if needed.
