ENGAGE BIBLE STUDY: NO MEETING TONIGHT — There is no meeting of Engage tonight (Lord’s Supper). Our study will resume next Sunday at 5:00 p.m. D-NIGHT: THIS WEDNESDAY — Come Discover God's Truth after cooling off in the pool, starting at 4:30 p.m. Bring a modest swimsuit, towel and your Bible. Friends are welcome. We meet at the Bustos home, 10713 Dunlap Crossing Rd, Whittier.
GETTING CONNECTED
CHILDREN’S NEW PLAYGROUND PROJECT — Parents of young children, if you’re interested in serving on a small team to redesign a new playground in our backyard, please speak to or text Pastor Jim at (562) 818-2084. The work you do will minister to families with young children for years to come!
FAMILY LIFE GROUPS — FLGs are weekly in-home gatherings for Bible study and fellowship. To join, see a list of available groups in the foyer, or call the church office for information.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL TEAM FOR SUMMER 2018 — Now is the time to start making plans to reach families with children next summer. Serve on the 2018 VBS team and start praying for families today! Speak to or text Pastor Jim at (562) 818-2084.
CHILD CARE — Child care is available during the worship services for children up to 5th grade. Infants may be dropped off BEFORE the service. Toddlers and elementary-age children may be dropped off AFTER the worship songs.
HOSPITALITY OPPORTUNITY — FBBC would like to host students from The Master’s University from Thursday–Sunday, October 12th–15th. If you can house a small group of students, please let Luis A. Cardenas know. The students will be helping our church with outreach and ministry as a way of getting exposed to ministry at a local church.

GOLDEN AGE: BIBLE STUDY & FELLOWSHIP, TUESDAY @ 10:30 A.M. — The Golden Age ministry will have its monthly Bible Study & Fellowship on Tuesday, August 8th (immediately following the 9:00 prayer meeting) in the Fellowship Hall. Come to hear God’s word. Bring a dish to share during a fellowship lunch.
REFRESHMENTS — Join us for coffee and refreshments every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in our parking lot. Take this time to introduce each other and make new friends.
