AVISO DE VISTA PÚBLICA SOBRE APROBACIÓN REGLAMENTO CONSOLIDADO SOBRE OCTANAJE Y CONTENIDO DE PLOMO, AJUSTE POR TEMPERATURA EN COMBUSTIBLES Y VEHÍCULOS-TANQUE UTILIZADOS COMO MEDIDA Y TRANSPORTE Conforme a los poderes y facultades que le confiere la Ley Núm. 5 del 23 de abril de 1973, según enmendada, conocida como la Ley Orgánica del Departamento de Asuntos del Consumidor y conforme al procedimiento de la Ley Num. 170 de 12 de agosto de 1988, según enmendada, el Secretario del Departamento de Asuntos del Consumidor convoca a Vista Pública a celebrarse el viernes, 12 de junio de 2015, en el Laboratorio de Pesas y Medidas del Departamento de Asuntos del Consumidor, ubicado en el Parque Industrial Tres Monjitas, Calle Federico Costa, Número M-1045 en Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, a partir de las nueve y media de la mañana hasta las doce del mediodía (9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) y desde la una y media hasta las tres de la tarde (1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.). El propósito de este proyecto de reglamento, es consolidar los Reglamentos 3080 (sobre Vehículos-Tanque), el 3689 (sobre Octanaje y contenido de plomo en las gasolinas) y el 6967 (sobre el Ajuste por Temperatura al precio de productos derivados del petróleo). Esto con el fin de agrupar regulaciones relacionadas en un solo reglamento. Además, se añade al texto la prohibición de gasolina con plomo, según establecido en regulaciones federales. El Proyecto de Enmienda al Reglamento estará disponible al público en el Laboratorio de Pesas y Medidas del Departamento de Asuntos del Consumidor, ubicado en el Parque Industrial Tres Monjitas, Calle Federico Costa, Número M-1045 en Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Además, porá acceder al reglamento a través de la página de internet www.daco.pr.gov. Las personas que interesan deponer oralmente podrán comparecer ante el Oficial Examinador en la fecha, hora y lugar indicado. Se le concederá a cada deponente un máximo de quince (15) minutos para su presentación. Cualquier deponente podrá someter su ponencia por escrito el día de la vista o someterla por escrito a la atención del Ing. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF THE CONSOLIDATED REGULATION FOR OCTANE AND LEAD CONTENT IN FUELS, TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT IN FUELS AND TANK-VEHICLES USED AS MEASUREMENT AND TRANSPORT Pursuant to the powers and authority conferred by the Public Law No. 5 of April 23, 1973, as amended, known as the Organic Act of the Department of Consumer Affairs and the procedure of the Law No. 170 of August 12, 1988, as amended, the Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs invites to a public hearing to be held on Friday, June 12, 2015, at the Department’s Weights and Measures Laboratory, located at Tres Monjitas Industrial Park, Federico Costa Street, M-1045 at Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, starting at half past nine till twelve o’clock (9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) and from one and a half to three in the afternoon (1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.). This draft of Regulation proposes the consolidation of Regulation 3080 (for Tank-vehicles), Regulation 3689 (for Octane and Lead Content in Fuels), and Regulation 6967 (for Temperature Adjustments for Petroleum Derivatives). This in order to group related regulations into a single Regulation. In addition, lead ban in fuels is added, as already states in federal regulations. The draft regulation will be available to the public in the Department’s Weights and Measures Laboratory, located at Tres Monjitas Industrial Park, Federico Costa Street, M-1045 at Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. In addition, it can access it through the website www.daco.pr.gov. Any interested parties who wish to depose orally will be able to appear before the Administrative Officer in the date, time and place indicated above. Each interested party will b granted a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes for his/her presentation.
