B Paraplanning Services The following services are provided to assist you with the submission of your clients business to St James’s Place. I will work with you to ensure the business submission process is as smooth as possible, accurate and efficient, and were required, case approval received from Business Assurance allowing your cases to proceed without undue delay. The overall aim is to provide you with more time to work on behalf of your clients, leaving the time consuming tasks associated with business submission to Burnett Financial Paraplanning.      

B The Paraplanning commitment to your St James’s Place Practice  Complete the Suitability Report ready for your approval  Ensure all relevant sections of the clients Confidential Financial Review (CFR) are completed as required for successful submission  Ensure all documentation relevant to the case including existing provider details for replacement cases and additional information gathered is recorded accurately and attached to the advice set  For replacement cases, ensure accurate completion of the Critical Yield Calculator and following testing, liaise with you to discuss if any further action required prior to case submission  Contact existing providers on your behalf to obtain further information as required to complete the case  Respond to Business Assurance should the case require pre-approval or is subject to sample checking when further information or amendments are requested

B Documentation we require from you All cases:  A fully complete CFR  Relevant case submission information including client specific details and soft facts to personalise the suitability report  Access to the client record on iBusiness Additional requirements for replacement cases:  A copy of the clients signed Letter of Authority  The Letters of Authority should be issued to the existing providers, with the ceding scheme information provided to me along with the relevant case submission information* *If the Ceding scheme LOA information and illustration service is used this will not be required.

B Payment Terms and Service  Fees are set and reviewed yearly and are subject to change. Should the fees be changed you will receive confirmation of the changes applied prior to submitting further business  An Invoice will be issued direct to you for work carried out in that calendar month. For cases requiring pre-approval from Business Assurance, an invoice will only be raised when approval is received  For replacement cases, individual plans are those that could be transferred independently of one another  Should additional work be incurred that was not agreed at outset an additional charge of £50 per hour will apply. Your agreement will be sought prior to carrying out any additional work. Examples of additional work include: o Reworking the case should incorrect information be provided o Your recommendation changing once writing of the Suitability Letter has commenced o Any last minute changes to the terms of the recommendation (additional IAF give up or investment amounts)  Payment of the invoice should ideally be actioned by the middle of the month following receipt of the invoice at the end of the preceding calendar month
