Prof. Dr. Rita Borromeo Ferri, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Kassel Rita Borromeo Ferri is a professor of mathematics education at University of Kassel. She worked as a Guest professor of Mathematics Education at Teachers College of Columbia University in New York City from 2013-2014. In 2010 Rita Borromeo Ferri got a Teaching Award from the University of Hamburg for her Seminar “Teaching and Learning of Mathematical Modelling”. She was Vice-Chair of ICTMA-14 (International Conference on the Teaching of Mathematical Modelling and Applications) She gave a regular Lecture at the ICME 12 in Seoul and she is working with many colleagues of mathematics education and mathematics all over the world. She is a director of the Center of Higher Education Mathematics at University of Kassel.
