Dear Families, Congratulations on reaching the end of the academic year with your scholar! This will be our final set of notes for the year. All of our major state/AP exams are officially behind us and we are winding down the year. Finals start on Monday and continue through Thursday, with two classes of finals per day. Starting on Tuesday, our scholars will be dismissed at 1:00pm and our last day will be Friday, May 26. As always, it’s important that scholars give their all over these last few days. Final exams have a 20% weight for each classes’ semester 2 grade, so there is a strong potential of impact based on the final. Gradebooks are officially due to be closed by the end of the day May 26. Teachers will be reaching out directly to you to let you know if your scholar didn’t earn credit for either a semester or a full year of their course. Summer school sign up with take place Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1. Summer school officially begins Monday, June 5. Ms. Henry will be supporting our summer school operations this year, while Mrs. Villanueva will be getting scholars enrolled and ensuring they have a credit recovery plan if they didn’t earn all of their credits. This has been another outstanding year here at Infinity as we build out our high school program and a large part of that has been each of your efforts, whether that has been volunteering to help our work, rearranging your schedule to pick up your scholar late when he/she stays for tutoring or an event, coordinating weekend transportation for scholars when they needed to come for mock exams or other events, or sharing your insight and input with me and other members of our team.

I am incredibly excited for next year, when we will have our very first graduating class and our very first year as a full high school! Sports Update We just closed our second soccer season! Our JV boys’ soccer team showed great grit and tenacity, but ultimately came up short in the win column. Our varsity boys played several back-to-back games to end the season and ultimately fell just short of qualifying for a playoff, but posted a winning record for the season. Our JV girls closed out strong and clinched third place in their division with a 3-0 win the Monday before last! A huge shout out to Coaches Frias, Lyons and Krukowski for their roles in driving each team. We look forward to next season! Summer School Update As of the posting of this newsletter, we are still awaiting the results of our EOC exams. A reminder that any scholar who did not earn a passing score must attend a state-mandated summer school session June 5-June 23 and then re-take their failed EOC during the last week. As soon as we get this information, we will be sure to reach out. Thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility as we await our data! Fall Café Menu Input Our café team from the network will be here at Infinity this Thursday, May 18 from 5:30pm through 6:30pm. They will be taking feedback from our families as they work to finalize the fall menu. This will be a great opportunity to provide your thoughts on your scholar’s fall café menu should you choose to do so!

Todos nuestros exámenes del estado principales/AP están oficialmente detrás de nosotros y nosotros estamos relajándonos un poco más. Exámenes finales comienzan el lunes y continúan el jueves, con dos clases de finales por día. A partir del martes, nuestros escolares saldrán a la 1:00PM y el último día será el viernes, 26 de mayo. Como siempre, es importante que los escolares den todo en estos últimos días. Exámenes finales tienen un peso del 20% por cada grado de semestre 2 de las clases, así que hay un gran potencial de impacto basado al final. Familias, no puedo agradecerles lo suficiente por su apoyo durante el año. Como siempre, gracias por su apoyo, Mr. Forman Actualización de deportes ¡Acaba de cerrar la segunda temporada de fútbol! Nuestro equipo de fútbol de los muchachos JV demostró gran garra y tenacidad, pero al final quedó corto en la columna de la victoria. Nuestros muchachos del varsity jugaron varios juegos consecutivos para terminar la temporada y al final cayeron cortos justo antes de calificar para los finales, pero registraron un gran récor. Nuestras chicas de JV cerraron fuerte y obtuvo tercer lugar en su división con una victoria de 3-0 el lunes antepasado! Un enorme grito fuera para los entrenadores Frias, Lyon y Krukowski por sus roles en cada equipo. ¡Esperamos la próxima temporada!
