WHO ARE THEY? – DISCOGRAPHY FROM SANTO MACHANGO

Santo  Machango  is  a  project  that  began  in   2010  in  Barcelona,  years  a9er  the  two  Área   62  singers  from  Canarian  Islands  decided  to   move  to  live  in  this  city.   Since  then,  the  embryonic  formaDon  of  the   band  called  The  Bars  Band,  they  start   playing  in  small  bars  in  the  city,  alternaDng   acousDc  formats,  resulDng  winners  in   several  events.   In  2012  they  recorded  their  first  album   "Dopamina"  produced  by  Toni  Perez  in  the   Estudios  of  Marc  Parrot,  with  which  they   began  to  expand  naDonally  and   internaDonally  perfecDng  their  show  and   increasing  media  coverage.

France   welcomed   them   with   open   arms   by   Vidaloca   producDons.   A9er   nearly   100   concerts   Dopamine   tour   they   recorded   their   second   album   "Mojo”   edited   by   Kasba   Music   in   2015   which   were   consolidated   as   a   reference   band   to   naDonal   and   internaDonal   level.   NaDonal   funk   reknown   arDsts   as   Tony   M a n e r o   a n d   O ' F u n k i l l o   F o u n d a D o n   collaborate  on  this  album.   At   the   beginning   of   the   Mojo   tour   for   the   first   Dme  they  step  on  Germany  acDng  with  great   success  in  several  renowned  fesDvals.   Several   Medias   match   that   the   style   of   the   band  is  Street  Funk.  They  started  a  revoluDon   where   concerts   become   a   savage   of   smiles   and   sweat.   A   parDcularity   of   having   two   singers  a  saxophone  live  adds.

In   his   last   concert   in   Barcelona   the   press   it   echoes  queues   that   generates   a   group   that   unDl  now  was  considered  underground   The  direct  and  live  performances  is   strengthened.   The  band  creates  its  own  company   Motherfunky  a  new  internaDonal  events   and  booking  (Lethemusicplay)  joins  the   family  making  it  one  of  the  most   internaDonal  bands  Spain.

The   band   has   also   parDcipated   various   charity  events  as  The  Discconcert  :  concert   adapted   for   people   with   intellectual   disabiliDes   open   to   all   audiences.   Santo   Machango   has   been   part   of   repeatedly   programming   Esperanzah   FesDval   in   Barcelona   and   in   Belgium,   one   of   the   leaders   of   the   solidarity   economy   and   has   parDcipated   in   the   musical   compilaDon   Rockola   ,   dra9   Leo   Che   Sudaka   to   amplify   the  joy  and  unite.

A U D I E N C E   Barcelona,  Gran  Canarias  and  Colombia  to  create   an  explosive  connect  directly  with  a  cool,  urban   sound  .  A  spurt  of  energy  and  Groove  able  to  wake   hidden  feelings  and  brave  hip  movements  .  The   music  makes  its  way  through  next  rhymes  and   stories  with  protagonists  nearby  plasma  ,  speaking   of  lived  with  a  posiDve  and  enthusiasDc  touch   experiences.
