Stop the summer reading slide!!!

PARKS AND TIMES 2:00-2:30 Yadon Park Did you know that students who read over the summer actually gain a month in their reading growth, but those who don’t lose an average of three months progress from the school year. At Turtle Creek we want all of our students to move forward during the summer. In order to accomplish this we are running a bookmobile to make books available to our students. Come see your teacher this summer as we take turns driving the bookmobile to a park near you. Whatever you do KEEP READING.

¡¡¡Pare la bajada de lectura en el verano!!!

PARQUES Y HORARIOS 2:00-2:30 Yadon Park Sabes que estudiantes que leen en el verano actualmente ganan un mes en su crecimiento de lectura, pero aquellos que no leen bajan un promedio de tres meses de progreso del año escolar. En Turtle Creek queremos que todos nuestros estudiantes sigan adelante durante del verano. Para cumplir esto vamos a operar un bibliobús para hacer libros disponibles para nuestros estudiantes. Ven para ver su maestro tomar su turno manejar el bibliobús a un parque cerca de tí. Sea lo que sea que SIGAS LEER.
