¿Has estado en la escuela todos los días? Bien si sí, entonces usted tienes la oportunidad de desayunar con la directora! Desayunar con la directora es una recompensa por venir a la escuela todos los días. ¿Quieres saber más sobre esta celebración? Continua leyendo. Ahora ya sabes cómo asistir a esta celebración, pero ¿qué hacemos allí puedes preguntar? Bueno, primero te recogen y luego vas al auditorio, aquí es donde te llaman para darte tu certificado y tu medalla. Después de que te den tu certificado, pasamos a la cafetería. Aquí es donde desayunas. Por lo general te dan la opción de un sándwich con huevo y bacón. De huevo y queso, o de huevo, queso y salchicha También te sirven jugo. Cuando terminas de comer vuelves a tu aula de clase y continuas con su día. ¡Finalmente, ¿pudiste dirigir este articulo? Esta celebración es divertida.

Calcetines para los residentes de Buena Vida

Buena Vida es un asilo de ancianos ubicado en Brooklyn, Nueva York. Hay 233 residentes que viven allí. El Gobierno Estudiantil y todos los estudiantes de Pre-K caminaron a este hogar de ancianos el 14 de febrero. Interactuamos con muchos residentes y llegamos a conocerlos. Los estudiantes de Pre-K visitaron cada piso para cantar canciones, regalar tarjetas de San Valentín y calcetines envueltos en papel de regalo a los ancianos. El gobierno de estudiantil juga juegos como damas, dominó, y conectar cuatro con los residentes, también tomaron fotos del evento. En general, fuimos bien acogidos y apreciado en Buena Vida. Queremos agradecer a todos los padres de Pre-K que asistieron, también queremos agradecer a Carolyn Franklyn por coordinar nuestra visita.

Personas mayores de 17 años pueden ser voluntarios para unirse a la Cruz Roja. Ofrecen CPR, AED y capacitación en atención médica a los trabajadores de la construcción, niñeras y otras ocupaciones. En conclusión, la Cruz Roja es una organización muy útil y estamos seguros de que las familias de todo el mundo estarían de acuerdo.

El debate sobre las tareas Los estudiantes de 4to y 5to grados tomaron una encuesta sobre cómo se sienten acerca de tareas. Según nuestra gráfica, la mayoría de los estudiantes se sentía neutral o le gustaba hacer la tarea. Incluso las respuestas neutrales se inclinaban mas hacia gustarle las tareas. Por ejemplo, un estudiante de quinto grado que eligió neutral, dio una explicación de por qué lo eligió. La pregunta era "¿Crees que la tarea te ayuda? ¿Por qué o por qué no? Aquí está su explicación, “Creo que la tarea me ayuda porque podría entender mejor la lección.” En conclusión, la tarea te ayuda en muchas maneras diferentes. Pero, tu decides si quieres hacer la tarea o no. Oh, casi olvidamos, depende de tu maestro! No hacer la tarea afectará tus calificaciones. The Excelsior Digest This! Breakfast With The Principal

Have you been in school every single day? Well if yes, then you have a chance of getting an invitation to go to Breakfast with the Principal! Going to Breakfast with the Principal is a reward for coming to school every single day. Want to know more about this celebration? Keep “digesting” this article to find out. Ok, now you know how to get to this celebration, but what do we do there you may ask? Well, you first get picked up and then sent down to the auditorium, this is where they call you to give you your certificate and medal. After they give you your rewards , you line up to go to the lunchroom. This is where you have breakfast. They usually give you the choice of bacon egg and cheese sandwich, egg and cheese sandwich, or sausage egg and cheese sandwich. They also give you drinks, mostly juice, and when you finish eating you go back to your classroom and continue on with your day. You finally finished digesting this article, your breakfast is done! This celebration is fun.

Socks For Seniors; A Visit To Buena Vida Buena Vida is a nursing home for the elderly located in Brooklyn, New York. There are 233 residents living there. The Student Government and all Pre-K students went on a walking trip to this Nursing home on February 14th. We interacted with many residents and we got to know them. The Pre-K students visited every floor to sing songs, give Valentine cards and gift wrapped socks to the elderly. The Student Government got to play games like checkers, dominoes, connect four with the residents, and also take pictures of the event to feature them on this newsletter. All in all, we were very welcomed and appreciated at Buena Vida. We want to thank all the PreK parents that assisted, also we want to thank Carolyn Franklyn for coordinating our visit.

The American Red Cross Have you ever heard of the Red Cross? The Red Cross is a multinational aid organization, founded by Clara Barton in 1881. The Red Cross helps and provides health care, shelter, and hot meals to families all over the world. As a matter of fact, they help people in 73 different countries worldwide. One time during the 911 terrorist attack they almost spent 1 billion dollars in aid. People over the age of 17 can volunteer to join the Red Cross. They offer CPR, AED, and health care training to construction workers, baby sitters, and other occupations. In conclusion the Red Cross is a very helpful organization and we are sure families all over the world would agree.

The Homework Debate! In the school P.S. 145K, 4th and 5th grade students took a survey on how they feel about homework. According to our graph, most of the students felt neutral or liked doing homework. Even the neutral responses were mostly leaning toward liking homework. For example, a 5th grade student who chose neutral, gave a explanation on why he chose it. The question was “Do you think homework helps you? Why or Why Not?’’ Here’s his explanation ‘’I think homework helps me because I could get a better understanding of the lesson.’’ In conclusion, homework helps you in many different ways. But, you decide your choice of rather doing homework or not. Oh, we almost forgot, it depends on your teacher! Not doing homework will affect your grades.
